On the 90th Anniversary of the first race at what is now the Charles Town Racetrack, we look back on the track’s history and legacy with a panel event and a new exhibit. This history panel will feature a conversation with several individuals who’ve been involved with racing in Jefferson County, including trainer Mike Jones, former Director of Racing Dickie Moore, and former jockey and steward Danny Wright.
This event is free to the public and will take place in the Jefferson County Commission Room, down the hall from the Museum.
