October is here, and locally we have a some important Civil War anniversaries coming up: the Battle of Bolivar Heights (Oct 16, 1861) and the Battle of Charles Town (Oct 18, 1863). Our presentation on the Civil War in Jefferson County will be held on October 19, and is a great opportunity to learn a little more about these anniversaries and Civil War locally. ![]()
