Proud to have these items from a Jefferson County institution, Rainbow Road. The Rainbow Road Club was originally known as the Orchard Inn, a spot where Patsy Cline is known to have performed in the 1950s. When the 1985 film "Sweet Dreams" was filmed locally, they used the location to portray an old Winchester venue called "Rainbow Road." The name stuck, and the club has remained open from the days of the Orchard Inn until earlier this year, when it prepared to make way for the widening of US 340. We are glad that items from the Rainbow Road will be preserved at the Jefferson County Museum for future generations to see.
